Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 5:00pm

We expect candidates to lead with a focus on teamwork and innovation, ensuring seamless execution of logistics operations while driving cost efficiencies and fostering strong partnerships across all stakeholders.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Responsible for managing a team of 8 & supporting their training & development.
• Responsible for the team that deliver the day to day collection plan making sure all shipments are planned & executed inline with JLR demand & requests.
• Collaborative working with Vendors, Transport teams, Customer & internal depatments.
• Day to day contact for freight operational challenges that are either impacted by / or impacting the freight plan.
• Supporting the overall 2% Contractual Cost Down for Freight & Responsible for delivering the new initiatives allocated to LLP Freight Planning.
• Supporting the UK Planning manager on projects as a keystakeholder.
  
  
  

this Role Would Suit People Who

• Tactical planning & operational experience in LLP operations in Supply Chain division and multi modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea)
• Knowledge of DHL systems specifically OTM / Paragon / Coupa & customer system SAP / CMMS.
• A good degree of computer literacy, with a comprehensive working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
