We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, to play an important role in helping us to achieve our vision of building a World where all infrastructure is sustainably built and maintained. The role will be on site at the A423 Southam Compound, Banbury Road, CV47 2BL. With visits to Harefield as necessary.

This role is crucial to ensuring our commercial success, enabling us to invest in new technologies and develop sustainable, carbon-positive energy infrastructure—built and maintained in a way that safeguards our planet for future generations.

Here are just some of the activities you will be involved with…

• Generating weekly revenue and cost reports.
• Managing the submission of daily completed jobs.
• Producing ‘Schedules of Rates'.
• Reconciling subcontractor costs and preparing payment certificates.
• Liaising with Operations and Planning to monitor job progress and scope changes.
• Reviewing scheme works to ensure targets are on track.
• Pricing completed jobs for high-volume works.
• Analysing weekly and monthly cost and revenue data.
  
  

We would love to hear from you if…

You will have a background in the utilities or civil engineering sector, along with experience in subcontract management. Previous experience working on an NEC3 Option B package of works is essential. A working knowledge of the Method of Measurement for Highway Works (MMHW) is also required. Along with indepth knowledge of CESMM4

You should have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in managing costs and revenues effectively.
