Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

Location: Birmingahm Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum Sector: Building Design Consultancy (Residential, Healthcare, Leisure)

The Role:

• Lead electrical design on a variety of building services projects across residential, healthcare, and leisure sectors.
• Produce detailed electrical engineering designs from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects, and external consultants.
• Ensure all designs meet current regulations, sustainability standards, and client specifications.
• Support and mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team.

Requirements:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• Proven experience in electrical design within a consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and CIBSE standards.
• Proficient in design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, or Relux.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
