Client Details
The client is a Manufacturing/Engineering organisation based in Birmingham
Description
Provide expert guidance on people practices and HR processes aligned to business plan commitments and change programmes.
Act as the local HR lead for programme-related developments, ensuring all people impacts are identified, logged, and addressed.
Influence key stakeholders on the people implications of future operations and transformation activity.
Partner with senior leaders to embed effective people strategies.
Identify and manage employee relations and legal risks related to proposed changes.
Support with planning, analysis, and presentation of people-related data and metrics to inform decision-making.
Profile
Proven experience in a senior HR business partnering role, ideally in a unionised environment
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and organisational change processes.
Excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working with or within complex operational organisations is essential
CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR qualification preferred.
Outcome-focused, highly organised, and data-literate with a collaborative mindset.
Job Offer
Competitive salary c. £60-70k
12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working arrangements (Birmingham base, 2-3 days on site).
