Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Professional with a focus on Power Bi and project controls to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing project data, developing insights, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance project performance and efficiency. As a Data Analytics Professional with a focus on project controls, you will be responsible for leveraging data to drive project performance and decision-making. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse project data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights.
  • Support the development and implementation of project control processes and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with project control standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Analyse project data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve project performance and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data management practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and project controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Experience in data analytics with a focus on project controls.

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience in analysing project data and providing actionable insights using Power Bi.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau).
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Desirable

  • Experience in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Power Platform certifications (e.g. Power Platform Fundamentals).
  • Experience in Power Automate and Power Apps for automating workflows and enhancing project controls.
  • Knowledge of advanced data analytics techniques such as machine learning and predictive analytics.
