Job Description
We are seeking a Professional Development Lawyer (Employment) to join our Learning & Knowledge team, based in Nottingham, Birmingham, or Manchester. This role supports our growing employment team and offers flexible working arrangements, including a mix of office and home-based work.
What you will be doing:
In this role, you will draft, review, and maintain employment law precedents, know-how, and training materials. You will deliver training sessions and contribute to client-facing products and insights. Additionally, you will liaise with external knowledge providers and support firmwide knowledge sharing and management initiatives. You will also address technical legal queries and assist with onboarding new team members.
What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment law; previous PDL experience is advantageous. Strong drafting skills, project management, and the ability to work independently are crucial. Excellent communication, research, and presentation skills are essential.
You should be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A positive engagement style, team-oriented with a drive for self-improvement and professional development is key.
