Lettings Assistant – £26,000 per annumLocation: BirminghamHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pmUrgent Requirement – CV Shortlist by COB Tuesday / Early WednesdayPertemps is urgently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Lettings Assistant to join their busy and dynamic property team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in lettings or property management, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to hit the ground running.Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and coordinating property maintenance issues
• Processing rent increases and chasing rent arrears
• Reviewing and actioning property inspection reports
• Sourcing and liaising with new contractors
• Managing and tracking keys for contractor use
• Handling deposit refunds and dispute resolution
• Preparing and issuing tenancy notices, including Section 21
• Responding to phone calls and general tenant/landlord enquiries

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in lettings or property management
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in relevant property management systems is advantageous
• This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £26,000.
