Key Responsibilities

Interviews: Monday 21st July.
This role has a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) to be filled by a practising Christian. The PCC of St Christopher’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to acceptable pre-appointment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead discipleship and outreach for under 18s.
- Coordinate and support volunteer teams.
- Organise Sunday and midweek activities.
- Build relationships with parents, schools, and community partners.
- Ensure safeguarding best practices.
- A committed Christian with a heart for young people.
- Leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in children’s/youth work.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies.
- Flexible, proactive, and engaging.
- £25,000-£29,000 per annum.
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week, including Sundays).
- 6 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Pension contributions.
- Training and pastoral support.
