We are seeking an Associate to join our employment law team, providing expert advice and assistance on a wide range of employment matters to our diverse client base. About the Role: As an Associate, you will:

We are seeking an Associate to join our employment law team, providing expert advice and assistance on a wide range of employment matters to our diverse client base. About the Role: As an Associate, you will:
- Represent clients in employment tribunals, including Directions Hearings and Preliminary Hearings.
- Prepare for employment tribunal cases, including drafting claims, responses, discrimination questionnaires, interlocutory applications, witness statements, and skeleton arguments.
- Provide corporate support, such as advising on TUPE during transactions, drafting due diligence reports, and advising on indemnities and warranties.
- Draft and advise on employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Offer general advice on disciplinary investigations, grievance procedures, redundancy programs, and rights related to flexible working, maternity, and paternity.
- Contribute to the marketing and non-fee-earning projects of the department, including seminar presentations, training program drafting, updating precedents, and contributing to Employment Bulletins.
- Proficient IT and keyboard skills, with familiarity in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Strong research skills using both online and library resources.
- Up-to-date knowledge of legal developments, reviewing law reports and journals regularly.
- Candidates with experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
- Individuals with an enquiring mind, attention to detail, and a readiness to take on new challenges.
- Those with commercial awareness, able to quickly assimilate facts and work within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communicators who can provide straightforward, practical advice and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Team players who are willing to participate in marketing and social events and contribute ideas for improving client service.
