Your new school
Montgomery Primary Academy is an outstanding school led by an ambitious and dedicated Principle, Jasmine Woodward, who has been with the school for over 10 years. She has established a dedicated, enthusiastic and talented team of staff where everyone is committed to ensuring all children at Montgomery achieve their very best academically through excellent teaching and a well-crafted, ambitious curriculum. This has seen the school graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted and in excess of 91% of KS2 children meeting the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths. We are now looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join our team.
Your new role
Montgomery Academy is part of Lift Schools, one of the largest MATs in the country, allowing you access to the best training and CPD courses. You will be able to take subject-specific training that enhances subject knowledge, attend events with inspirational guest speakers and offered continuous career progression.
At the heart of our curriculum is our belief that physical and mental well being is vital. Pupils access specialist PE provision alongside a vast array of additional sporting clubs and competitions. We have been awarded the Gold Artsmark in recognition of our enriched curriculum. We are looking for a driven KS2 teacher to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, facilitating a positive learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
You will be a qualified teacher who has patience and understanding with young children. You’ll be able to quickly adjust teaching methods to meet the needs of all children. It’s important you have the flexibility to be able to handle unexpected situations with professionalism and patience in interactions with a variety of children and situations, with a calm demeanour.
