RSM’s Consulting Digital Team (CDT) sits within our Consulting practice and has an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join the sixth largest provider of Audit, Tax and Consulting services to entrepreneurial growth-focused organisations globally.

As an Associate/ Manager in the CDT you will be working closely with clients, and it is therefore critical that you can establish trust and credibility quickly to build effective relationships.

You will make an impact by:

• Design, build, and maintain finance-focused Power BI dashboards across a range of industries and business contexts.
• Develop efficient and scalable data models, writing clean, reusable DAX measures.
• Perform robust data transformations using Power Query (M).
• Ensure visualisations adhere to best practices in performance, readability, accessibility, and usability.
• Support report lifecycle management, including version control, documentation, testing, and stakeholder feedback loops.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to interpret business needs and transform them into clear, actionable visual insights.
• Maintain documentation and governance standards for data sources, calculations, and reporting logic.
• Stay informed on the latest Power BI and Microsoft Fabric updates, contributing to the internal roadmap and adoption strategy.

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

• Strong academic record: preferably with a relevant or business-focused degree (such as business, data analytics, computer science, or information systems degree)
• Proven experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service in a commercial environment.
• Advanced knowledge and real-world application of DAX, including performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of data modelling techniques, including star schema and normalisation.
• Proficient in Power Query (M) and shaping data from varied sources.
• Demonstrated understanding of data visualisation principles and UI/UX design in BI reporting.
• Ability to gather requirements, translate business questions into reporting solutions, and present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
