We’re excited to announce a new opportunity for an Operational Security Team Leader to join our Security and Resilience Team based at Frankley (Birmingham).

This is a pivotal role where you’ll be at the heart of our mission—leading the day-to-day operational security environment, ensuring our people, processes, and responses are aligned to deliver excellence and resilience.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

As the Operational Security Team Leader, your primary focus will be to manage and lead the daily operations of our Alarm Receiving Centre and Access Control functions. You’ll be the driving force behind a team that provides 24/7 monitoring and response across a wide range of sites including Critical National Infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading and coaching a team of both daytime and shift-based colleagues, ensuring high performance and engagement.
  • Overseeing operational environments, ensuring that people, processes, and responses are aligned and effective.
  • Maintaining and enhancing site security, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Developing and refining procedures to ensure swift and effective responses to security incidents.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the business, including emergency services and regulatory bodies.
  • Driving continuous improvement using safer better faster techniques and performance metrics.

Additional Information

  • Security vetting will be required.
  • May be required to participate in a standby rota.
  • EUSR Water Hygiene Blue Card required.
  • Full valid UK driving license (preferred).
