Job - Van Driver and event setup
Location- This is a travel role so you will be required to travel to different sites across the uk, ideal home location would be west midlands
We are seeking a temporary van driver to join our team for a campaign running from the week commencing the 13th of May until mid october. The primary responsibility will be to collect, drive, and deliver boxes of Deliveroo kit from various storage units to 40 event locations within the UK. You will be needed Mon-Fri, with our events being held on Tuesdays - Thursdays. The typical hours would be to do the majority of the driving on Monday and event pack up on Friday morning. The role will involve some heavy lifting around (15kg).

Key Responsibilities
- Collecting boxes of courier kit from storage units
- Safely driving and delivering items to event locations within the UK
- Ensuring the timely and secure transportation of goods
- Performing routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations
- Assisting with loading and unloading, involving heavy lifting
- Weekly check ins with Project Manager
- Valid UK driver’s license with a clean driving record - DVLA profile will be checked
- DBS check or be willing to have a DBS check as we will complete one
- Proven experience as a van driver or similar role
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Familiarity with UK roadways and routes
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work within the specified time frame
- Experience in logistics or courier services
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
