Pay rate: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour

Shift Pattern: Days vary between 7:30am - 17:30pm & Nights 21:00pm - 7:00am.

We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Erdington, Birmingham.This person has Mental Health, Autism, Narcolepsy and Cataplexy but this does not define them.More interestingly they have a wide range of interests such as Animals, Badminton, Arts and crafts, Dancing, Music, Singing and Youtube. To make the most of trips out and about, we need people who are local to Erdington, Birmingham and know the area.

Enriching Activities Will Be An Important Factor In Your Support, And You Will Bring a Wonderfully Empathetic Approach To Truly Make a Difference To This Persons Life. You Will Also Need To Bring Previous Experience With You In The Following

  • Autism
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Mental Health

What will your shift involve?

In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 1:1 basis during the day & 2:1 during the night, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs.Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being.Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence.Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.

This role sits within our LD&A family, and you will be supported by an experienced hands-on Team Leader.
