We are looking to recruit an experienced school leader with knowledge and experience of developing Trauma-Informed Attachment Aware Practice within a school or other education setting. You will lead the delivery and expansion of our growing TIAAS School Lead Practitioners.
You will be working within a passionate team dedicated to supporting and enhancing the quality of education for all children and young people in Birmingham, especially those who have experienced adverse childhood experiences and trauma. Birminghams Virtual School sits within the Children and Families Directorate and collaborates with the Birmingham Educational Psychology Service on the delivery of our TIAAS training and accreditation.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, promote, and ensure effective delivery of Birmingham Virtual School's statutory responsibility to provide education settings and the wider partnership with knowledge and training on attachment theory and the impact of childhood trauma on learning and participation.
- Oversee and coordinate school-to-school support across the city for Trauma-Informed and Attachment Aware Schools and Settings through recruitment, training, and line management of seconded school lead practitioners.
- Manage day-to-day partner delivery for Trauma-Informed Attachment Aware Schools (TIAAS) as outlined in our annual service level agreement with the Birmingham Education Psychology Service.
- Visit schools and settings in the city to share practice and provide direct support and guidance to school leaders engaged in TIAAS practice.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the TIAAS programme and lead practitioner support, making adjustments when necessary.
- Line manage our seconded School TIAAS Lead practitioners
