The Role

We're recruiting for an influential and commercially minded HR Director to join a leading business services organisation based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a key executive position with strategic oversight of the entire HR function, leading a well-established team of 15—including HR Business Partners, Administration, and Payroll professionals.

  • Leading change management programmes and organisational development initiatives

What Are We Looking for in an HR Director?

  • Proven experience at HR Director or Senior HR leadership level within a dynamic, service-led environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset
  • Track record of leading and developing multi-disciplinary HR teams
  • Expertise across HR operations, ER, organisational development, and talent strategy
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with board-level credibility
  • Deep understanding of employment law, compliance, and modern HR practices
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience) preferred
