Technical Sales Engineer - #1728563

Fortis Recruitment are delighted to be working with a market leading engineering company to recruit a technical sales engineer to join their team. The position is managing their mid-West territory, which also covers South Wales. The ideal location for the technical sales engineer would be from Birmingham down to Bristol, or South Wales.

My client manufacture CNC cutting tools and are looking for experience selling in that specific sector. The sales engineer will use their technical tooling knowledge to understand the clients needs and showcase how the company’s products and services can meet and exceed those requirements.

You will be taking over an existing client base including a main distributor and direct accounts. You will be tasked with maintaining / expanding theses accounts as well as unearthing and taking advantage of new opportunities.

Role / Experience

• Lead engaging product demonstrations and presentations
• Prepare technical proposals and documentation
• Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle
• You will have proven experience in selling cutting tools
• Exceptional customer management skills
• Knowledge of the local market is highly desirable

The successful technical sales engineer will be reporting into the National Sales Manager and also have support from Key account managers and business development managers. The company offer a range of benefits including health insurance, profit share and life cover.
