Our BSBP Finance team is an integral part of each area of Business Solutions, working closely with leaders to help drive business performance, identify and drive financial improvements, prepare plans and budgets, and report on the performance of the business - commercially, and functionally. The individual in this role will report to a Finance Leader and provide an opportunity to gain commercial insight into firmwide support costs and shared service business model.

What Your Days Will Look Like
- Reporting to and supporting the finance leader on the preparation of plans, budgets and forecasts
- Being responsible for monthly journals (preparing and processing accruals, prepayments, recharges and allocations)
- Assisting in the preparation of value-added financial analysis and reports, including explanations for major variances and insights to enable key strategic decision making
- Build and maintain strong relationships at various leadership levels with internal clients and the internal finance team
- Providing ad hoc support to the finance leader on day to day financial management, as required
- We are looking for a candidate who ideally is studying for an accounting qualification (CA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Intermediate to advanced level Excel
- Sound accounting and analytical skills with good attention to detail
- Technology enabled mindset and ability to identify and drive change through technology adoption. Ideally have experience with SAP, Alteryx, Power BI and M365
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organisational skills, including multi-tasking and prioritising effectively
- Proactive in identifying, flagging and offering solutions to potential issues or problems
