In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee strategic sourcing and category management across key direct procurement areas, including fleet, maintenance, parts, repairs, and on-board technology. You’ll deliver cost savings, enhance supplier relationships, and drive long-term value across our operations.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver category strategies across defined direct spend areas
• Lead tenders, supplier negotiations, and commercial sourcing activity
• Identify and implement cost savings, process improvements, and value opportunities
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders
• Ensure supplier performance, contract compliance, and effective governance
• Contribute to the wider procurement transformation through better tools, reporting, and data use
• Coach and develop team members to enhance capability and performance

What You’ll Bring

• Significant experience managing direct procurement categories in a mid-to-large organisation
• Proven track record of delivering category management and sourcing success
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills across multiple spend areas
• Ability to navigate and influence within a matrixed organisation
• Experience improving procurement processes and driving compliance
• Collaborative, results-focused mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving
