Housing Manager Estate Services Team
Permanent
Grade 5 - £41,511 - £49,764

Working 36.5 hours per week
We are seeking an individual with strong management and leadership skills to join the estate services team and assist in improving services for our tenants and leaseholders
The role involves collaborating closely with colleagues across City Housing, the wider council, partners, contractors, external stakeholders, and tenants/leaseholders
We require someone who works well within a team, is committed, motivational, enthusiastic, and dynamic to enhance our estate-based services. Leading service improvement citywide is crucial for success in this position, aligned with the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023 framework
Responsibilities include managing a large, flexibly deployed estate caretaking team across multiple sites, overseeing financial and physical resources, and developing service improvements
You will lead the cleaner greener agenda, ensuring cleanliness, appearance, maintenance, and health and safety standards of our neighbourhoods, and manage related resources. Effective inspection and monitoring systems for performance, cleaning, maintenance, and health and safety standards of high- and low-rise blocks, communal areas, land, and assets must be maintained and implemented
This role offers a chance to influence a high-profile front-line service, with opportunities for personal growth and development. Training for the role will be provided
As part of a public-facing housing management service, you should possess a strong desire to deliver a top-tier customer experience, including identifying and implementing service improvements. Excellent communication skills are required for interacting with tenants/leaseholders and estate-based teams throughout neighbourhoods
Requirements of the role include:
Working flexibly across various sites/locations
Attending training sessions for the role is mandatory
Experience within Housing Management/facilities cleaning services
