Pay:£30 - £25 per hour (via umbrella company) - Dependent on experience - PAYE options also available The Role:We're looking for an experienced Heavy Mechanical Fitter to carry out brake calliper bolt replacements on Class 172 rolling stock. The work involves positioning the jacking system, dropping the brake calliper, and replacing faulty fixings.Key Responsibilities:Replacement of brake calliper bolts on rolling stockFollowing safe working practices and depot proceduresCandidate Requirements:Experience in rolling stock, ideally with strong depot-based backgroundHeavy mechanical fitting experienceNVQ Level 3 in a mechanical discipline preferred, but not essential
