Chiller Engineer - #1723732

Here’s the deal – we need a top-tier Chiller Engineer who can handle high-pressure environments and keep critical cooling systems running. You’ll be covering key sites across the South East and Midlands – data centres, healthcare, financial institutions – the kind of places that don’t tolerate downtime.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

You’ll be first in on breakdowns and service visits, handling everything from planned maintenance to reactive repairs. Think Carrier, Trane, York, Mitsubishi, Turbocor – mostly water- and air-cooled chillers between 200kW and 1.2MW. You'll supervise heavy lifts when needed, keep RAMS and permit docs sorted, and support junior techs or commissioning when required.

You’ll be out on your own most of the time, managing your schedule and getting stuck into proper engineering work – not just filter changes and box ticking.

What You’ll Need to Have

• F-Gas Category 1 + C&G/NVQ in RAC or equivalent

• Solid hands-on experience fault-finding across major chiller brands

• Comfortable working with screw, scroll and Turbocor compressors

• Confident supervising heavy lifts (LOLER/IPAF a bonus)

• Full UK driving licence, a safety-first mindset, and a good way with clients

• Ideally confident with tablet-based reporting and permit systems
