Location: Birmingham OR Luton

Salary: From £35,000 per annum plus cash car allowance of £4.500

Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

Your Role, Your Impact


As a Digital Learning Specialist plays a critical role in shaping and delivering the digital learning strategy to enhance capability, performance, and engagement across the business. They will design, develop, and deploy high-quality digital learning content and champion the use of learning technologies to support scalable, engaging, and accessible learning experiences.

This role reports to the Head of Learning and Development and will be working collaboratively with the L&D team, wider People team and stakeholders across the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create engaging and accessible digital learning content using tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
  • Innovation in Learning: Leverage emerging technologies, including AI and VR, to design impactful learning experiences that enhance employee capability.
  • Content Transformation: Convert traditional face-to-face training into effective digital or blended learning solutions.
  • LMS Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Systems & Integration: Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to manage system upgrades, data integrity, and platform integrations.
  • Project Leadership: Lead or support end-to-end digital learning projects, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Analytics & Evaluation: Use data and analytics tools to monitor engagement, track learning effectiveness, and generate actionable insights.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the L&D team, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure learning solutions align with organisational goals.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering digital learning solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, Vyond,).
  • Proficiency in managing LMS platforms.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards and digital accessibility requirements.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point


Desirable:

  • Experience in data visualisation (e.g. Power BI).
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
