The Role


As Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will join a highly dedicated and professional leadership team responsible for delivering high-quality services to a globally focused client base. Your primary mission will be to lead the transformation and modernization of the IT landscape, across technology, people, and processes to enable and support the organization’s ambitious growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities


You will play a pivotal role in aligning the company’s technology strategy with its broader business goals. This transformation journey will focus on turning IT into a proactive business enabler, ensuring resilience, innovation, and scalability in both current operations and future initiatives.



  • Ensure alignment between IT capabilities and evolving business needs

  • Manage IT budgets with a focus on cost-effectiveness and value creation

  • Lead IT infrastructure and operations to ensure stability, performance, and scalability

  • Oversee software development for both operational support and innovation projects

  • Deliver IT projects on time, within scope and budget, with measurable business value

  • Promote effective IT business partnering to meet strategic and operational goals

  • Oversee IT support services to ensure user satisfaction and responsiveness

  • Maintain a strong cybersecurity posture, compliance framework, and risk mitigation approach


Your Profile



  • Strong transformation mindset, with a clear preference for progress and innovation over maintaining the status quo

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build and develop capable, empowered teams

  • Business-first thinker with a passion for solving real-world challenges using technology

  • Strategic mindset paired with a strong bias for execution

  • Transparent communicator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Minimum 5 years of general leadership experience

  • Solid background in working with or alongside technology; direct experience in an IT department is not required

  • Industry experience in logistics or shipping is preferred

  • Fluent in English
