Smile Education are recruiting for an SEN teacher with SEN experience to work in a college near the Harborne area. The role would be working at a large 3 site college with a tight knit staff team and SLT support.This school have 1300 staff over the 3 sites and are fantastic with keeping up a positive ethos

The role would be long term and full time and would be going permanent by the end of the academic year

The responsibilities of the SEN tutor role:

• Plan and deliver captivating core subject lessons to students in line with the curriculum


• Focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking


• assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and nurturing a love for learning will be central to your role.


• Be able to structure lesson plans for different level of student needs.

• A bachelor’s degree in education, English or a related field.


• Teaching certification or QTS.


• Proficiency in the secondary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel.


• Have experience or the desire to work within an SEN setting.

• A daily rate of £153.85-£230 a day
