● To work as part of the Faculty to develop schemes of learning and resources for English.

● To prepare and deliver lessons according to school/faculty schemes of learning.

● Assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of students and to keep such records as are required according to the school/faculty policies.

● To monitor student progress and, where appropriate, put in place intervention.

● To attend and contribute to relevant meetings.

● To play an active part in the long-term development of the Faculty.

● To play a full part in the allocated year group – including carrying out duties as a form tutor, if appropriate.
