Your impact
As our Programme Controls Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all programme and project controls, including schedule, cost, risk, change, and reporting
Your leadership will be instrumental in designing and maintaining an integrated Programme Management Office (PMO), leveraging industry best practices and information management fundamentals
You will spearhead an integrated project controls team, ensuring activities and deliverables are completed on time and within budget
Your proactive approach to digital technology, innovation, and creativity will drive better outcomes and reporting, influencing sector standards and practices

About The Opportunity
As part of the Senior Management Team, you will
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Programme Management Office Function Heads and Project Controls teams
Establish the competency and capacity of resources to meet programme needs
Participate in Programme governance committees to shape strategies and outcomes
Implement standardized Project Controls tools, procedures, and processes
Ensure accurate management, integration, and analysis of programme baseline, schedule, cost, risk, and change control
Build successful relationships with delivery partners and ancillary contract partners
Communicate programme performance effectively with strong social, networking, and presentation skills
This role could be based in either
London
Birmingham
Manchester

Here's what you'll need
Experience in delivering multi-partner, stakeholder, and capital projects in the infrastructure or transportation sectors
Proven experience in large-scale delivery in complex environments, recognised by clients at the national or international level
Expertise in programme management, including maturity assessment, start-up, and execution activities
Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams at all project stages and the ability to work across cultures and remotely with global teams
Strategic consulting and business advisory services experience
Strong communication skills for articulating programme performance
Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and potentially Europe
Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field of study, plus membership of a recognised professional institution, preferably at a Fellowship level
