Day Rate: £95 to £100 per day
A secondary school in the B38 area of Birmingham is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support English lessons in September. You’ll be supervising a mix of Year 9 and Year 10 classes, with group sizes of around 25 to 30 pupils. The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has a well-established English department. This role is available due to an unfilled vacancy, and onboarding is taking place throughout May to prepare for September.

- Deliver prepared English cover work to KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Report back on lesson progress and pupil engagement
- Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher
- Experience working with secondary-aged pupils
- Confident managing classroom routines and expectations
- Interest in English as a subject is a bonus
