Skilled Labourer (Soft Strip Works – Mobile Role)

We are currently seeking a reliable, experienced Skilled Labourer to join our client's team, specialising in soft strip works within domestic environments. This role involves the safe removal of damaged or contaminated fixtures and fittings in preparation for refurbishment or remediation. The successful candidate will be mobile, travelling to various client premises as required, and must have a full UK driving licence and their own tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out soft strip works including removal of kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, plasterboard, and other non-structural elements.

• Safely handle and dispose of contaminated or damaged materials as per health and safety guidelines.

• Prepare work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and minimal disruption to occupied premises.

• Review site survey and bring appropriate tools.

• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and respect when working in occupied or sensitive environments.

• Follow company procedures and comply with H&S policies at all times.

• Take before and after photos to send to the client.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in soft strip, demolition, or construction labouring roles.

• Full UK driving licence and own transport (role is paid door to door).

• Own tools suitable for soft strip work (e.g., crowbars, hammers, drills, PPE, etc.).

• Comfortable travelling to multiple job sites across the region.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a small team.

• Strong communication skills and a respectful attitude towards clients' homes.

• CSCS card preferred but not essential.

Compensation:

• Paid from the moment you leave home to the moment you return (door to door).

• Additional 1 hour of pay for each job that involves travel over 25 miles (each way).
