Job Title: MEP Project ManagerLocation: Birmingham (On-site, Full-time)
Job Description:An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects across the retail, commercial, and education sectors. The role involves managing the complete project lifecycle from initial design through to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of MEP projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

Supervise the installation of plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems on-site.

Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Review and handle project submittals, drawings, and documentation.

Ensure projects adhere to specifications, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.

Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.

Manage project budgets and control costs effectively.

Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, consultants, and team members.

Conduct regular site visits, including nationwide travel as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven experience managing MEP projects, including plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Strong project management skills with expertise in budgeting and handling submittals.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple trades.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field) preferred.
-
Willingness to travel across the UK for site visits and client meetings.
