Accountabilities: Your day to day tasks

  • Negotiate, sell and distribute PMFTC portfolio in covered outlets to achieve business objectives.
  • Execute targeted and purposeful commercial activities to drive and achieve Commercial KPIs such as volume, distribution and collection targets.
  • Understand Retail & LAS profiles to have a holistic view of their customer journey, recommend and implement demand generation initiatives/programs that are fit for the business.
  • Provide and maintain quality customer service and develop effective relationships at retail in order to position PMFTC as preferred business partner and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Coordinate with their Business Building partners to identify critical areas for promoter deployment and help improve awareness, and trial of our brands
  • Educate consumers In selecting the right PMFTC products by emphasizing the product benefits and correct usage; builds brand loyalty through sampling as needed and in accordance to PMI Marketing Guidelines.
  • Checks and monitors daily cash collection and AR of POS to ensure adherence to credit policies; prevent fraud, bad debts and over aging
  • Ensures demonstration of strong values, integrity and ethics through actions, words, behavior and performance while in service, and help create positive work environment

Skill And Competencies

  • High School graduate (College graduate, preferred)
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and are knowledgeable in negotiation and consultative selling
  • Field sales exposure is an advantage
  • With relevant sales/marketing projects and initiatives
  • Should be comfortable to ride a panel truck / L300 (closed van)

Your day to day

You will be the ‘Front Line’, for our sales driven, Field Based Team. You’ll work directly with General Trade, Wholesale Partners, Key Account Partners and similar Accounts to educate, inform and support them in the sale of our portfolio of products. This role is to cover Romford and surrounding areas as territory.

As a frontline Brand Advocate for PMI, you’ll have excellent product knowledge and a real understanding of our Consumers. Your role will be to drive sales through collaboration and relationship building, enabling Retailers and Wholesalers alike, to maximise their profitability through the successful sales of our products.

Gaining insights and a detailed understanding of your territory, you’ll work closely with your Area Activation Manager to create a bespoke sales strategy, initiating ideas to create awareness and sell our Brands.

As part of a results focused team, you will support, inspire each other, and share strategies for success.

About You

  • This is a Sales role, with a deeper purpose. We’re looking for someone who can motivate and encourage Store Staff and Owners to share our vision for a ‘Smoke Free Future’, and actively engage, coach and support them to be part of that vision.
  • To be truly successful, you’ll need to be tenacious, resilient and determined. You’ll thrive on the satisfaction of not only achieving, but exceeding targets…with rewards! You’ll be comfortable with the agility of a demanding and evolving business.
  • You’ll have experience in a Sales, or target driven environment, have the ability, to utilise supporting data and, be dedicated to keeping the Customer at the heart of your decision making.
  • You’ll enjoy being creative about your approach, with an entrepreneurial attitude to help build awareness for the brand.
  • Partnering with Retailers, you’ll need the emotional intelligence to nurture genuine relationships through a business lens.
  • You’ll have a clean and valid driving licence (and will have held one for at least 12 months) and be based within a one-hour commute of your local territory or, be open to locating to the area. You will be required to have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
