MFL Teacher – KS3 and KS4 (French and Spanish)

Location: Birmingham, B24

Start Date: September (new academic year)

Day Rate: £150 to £200 depending on experience

A large secondary school in the B24 area of Birmingham is looking for a supply MFL Teacher to join them from September. The role involves delivering both French and Spanish to mixed-ability groups in Years 7 and 9, with around 26 pupils per class. The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has a strong reputation for modern languages. This position is required due to a planned sabbatical, and the school is onboarding suitable candidates in May for a confirmed September start.

Role Responsibilities

• Teach French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students
• Plan and deliver lessons that follow the school’s curriculum
• Support pupil progress through tracking and feedback
• Contribute to the language department during your placement
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Experience teaching French and/or Spanish in UK secondary schools
• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Available to begin in September and complete onboarding this May
• Confident managing behaviour in a secondary classroom setting
