An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Buyer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation working on major urban infrastructure programmes. Based in Birmingham, you’ll be responsible for leading procurement activities across materials, plant, and subcontract services — ensuring value, compliance, and performance from the supply chain.

You’ll provide professional procurement support to delivery teams, lead on subcontract procurement, and act as a vital link between internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to make a real impact in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years in a senior procurement role (construction/civil engineering).
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills.
• MCIPS (or working towards) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead subcontract procurement and supplier engagement.
• Implement supply chain strategies and manage risk.
• Draft contracts and coordinate tendering processes.
• Ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
• Support continuous improvement across procurement activities.
