Location: Cradley Heath area

Pay Rate: £13.10 per hour

Hours of Work: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Breaks: 15-minute morning break and 45-minute lunch break

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sawyer to join our team in the Cradley Heath area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sawmill operations and a keen eye for detail. As an Industrial Sawyer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sawmill equipment to cut and process timber according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sawmill machinery to cut logs into lumber and other wood products.
• Ensure precise cutting and processing of timber to meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of sawmill equipment.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a sawmill or similar industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of sawmill machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
