Role Overview:The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing relationships with new and existing customers. The primary focus will be on selling construction products to builders’ merchants and end users, including house builders and construction firms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to meet and exceed targets

• Identify and approach new business opportunities within the West Midlands

• Build and maintain strong relationships with builders' merchants and key construction clients

• Manage a portfolio of existing accounts to ensure continued growth and customer satisfaction

• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions

• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management

• Proven experience in field sales within the construction industry

• A successful track record of selling construction products

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
