Business Development Manager - Security
Location: Ideally Birmingham (but flexible – nationwide travel required)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Uncapped Bonus + Car/Car Allowance + Benefits (Phone & Laptop provided)

Do you thrive in a hunter-style sales role, building relationships and securing new business from the ground up? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join our client—a growing security firm at a pivotal time as they establish a dedicated sales function.
About the Role:
Our client is committed to delivering exceptional security services through a systematic and innovative approach. With a focus on quality and efficiency, they are now looking to expand their reach by bringing in a dynamic BDM to lead their new business drive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus exclusively on new business development within the security sector.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target high-value clients.
- Work closely with senior leadership to establish and grow the sales division.
- Primarily sell manned guarding services, while also offering mobile security towers.
- Leverage support from internal tele-sales to maximise lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring smooth contract transitions.
- Monitor market activity, trends, and competitor movements to identify new opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven track record in a Business Development Manager role within the security or construction industry, ideally in guarding or tech-based solutions.
- A hunter mentality – proactive, self-motivated, and driven by results.
- A strong existing network in the security space, with the ability to bring in immediate business.
- Confidence to work independently and set up a sales function from the ground up.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Preferably based near West Bromwich, but open to candidates across the UK.
