STS Aviation Services is hiring a Program Manager to join our team in Birmingham. In this role, you will lead high-impact facility readiness projects with energy, precision, and strategic oversight. Reporting to the Program Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that all readiness activities—from construction to commissioning—are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest operational standards.

Position Summary

The Program Manager will oversee the delivery of a comprehensive readiness programme aligned with STS Aviation Services’ operational goals. You will engage internal departments, external vendors, regulatory agencies, and independent stakeholders to maintain momentum across multiple workstreams. Your ability to lead, communicate clearly, manage complex timelines, and drive governance will be essential to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of program objectives, reporting directly to the Program Director
• Develop and manage the master schedule, integrating construction, fit-out, commissioning, and operational planning
• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, facility management, regulators, vendors, and internal leadership
• Define and implement programme controls, including processes, procedures, and reporting mechanisms
• Facilitate regular progress reviews and decision-making sessions
• Monitor and report on programme status, initiating corrective actions when needed
• Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change controls across workstreams
• Align people, systems, equipment, and procedures to ensure facility readiness at go-live
• Manage project-related budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation
• Ensure all operations are compliant with internal safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements
• Oversee milestones to ensure timely completion of all programme phases
