The Opportunity

Ready-Mix concrete is one of Holcim’s core business lines – and a vital part of making construction happen. As the most widely used building material in the world, concrete plays a central role in everything from small-scale builds to major infrastructure like HS2. Our Ready-Mix teams deliver high-quality, tailored solutions with a focus on safety, sustainability, and innovation.

But we don’t just deliver concrete — we deliver it better: with low-carbon mixes, digital tools, and a relentless drive for performance and customer satisfaction.

We’re now seeking a purpose-led leader to oversee our North and Midlands Ready-Mix operations. This is a dynamic, strategic role that combines operational leadership with real impact — from boosting commercial performance to driving digital transformation and sustainable growth.

What you'll be doing

  • You’ll shape the strategic vision and lead the commercial performance of Holcim’s Ready-Mix operations.

  • As a forward-thinking leader, you’ll champion digital transformation, streamline operations, and embed smarter, more agile ways of working that unlock real value.

  • Your work will support some of the UK’s most high-profile construction projects – from HS2 to major housing developments and logistics infrastructure.

  • Above all, you’ll lead with purpose – playing a key role in delivering Holcim’s low-carbon ambitions and helping to build a more sustainable future for the industry.

Who you are

  • As a natural commercial leader, you bring experience managing complex, multi-site operations with full P&L responsibility.

  • You’ll be confident leading senior teams, creating a culture where people feel empowered, valued, and motivated to perform at their best.

  • Your ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset means you can set a clear vision while staying connected to day-to-day operations.

  • With a sharp commercial instinct, you understand what drives margin, how to unlock efficiency, and how to build strong, lasting customer relationships.

  • You stay ahead by embracing change – curious, open-minded, and eager to explore how digital tools and smarter processes can simplify, streamline, and improve performance.

We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or age.
