We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager with particular experience in Airfreight, European Roadfreight & Seafreight ie: freight forwarding & logistics industry

Our client is a Freight Forwarder with offices across the UK. They offer their clients a genuine multimodal freight & distribution solution. Currently enjoyed a sustained period of growth they are now looking to add to their national development team with a Business Development Manager within their sales team

We are looking for applications from experienced new business sales professionals / managers in the Freight Forwarding , Distribution, Logistics and Shipping industry with a background in either Airfreight, European Roadfreight & Seafreight

You will have responsibility for identifying your own prospects for you sales pipeline and for arranging and completing your on territory field sales visits to prospective clients. Preparing quotations and tailored shipping solution packages will be common practice to you as will presenting solutions to clients at all levels

We are seeking a dynamic and driven freight professional for this role who thrives in a targeted new business environment.

This role has the potential to national sales management and new BDM employment and team development

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

• Business development: 1 year (preferred)
