About This Role

Birmingham Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust is looking to appoint a new Head of IT to our innovative and forward thinking team. Our trust is committed to delivering exceptional education and support to all our students to achieve their full potential.

Whilst being a predominantly primary phase trust, we do have 1 large secondary school and we are particularly looking for someone with secondary school experience.

An ideal candidate would have -

• 2 years + experience in a similar IT Leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Office 365, Powershell, MIS systems
• Backup system and disaster recovery planning
• Experience in the educational sector
• Confidence in communicating with stakeholders
  
  

This role is pivotal and you will be require to oversee all IT operations including-

• Developing and delivering our IT Strategy
• Lead and manage the IT team, ensuring high performance, professional development, and effective support.
• Working closely with MAT and school leaders as well as 3rd party providers to ensure continuity, security, and compliance
• Oversee IT infrastructure, network security, cloud services, and end-user support across all school sites
