Visit.org is seeking an experienced, responsible, and driven Freelance Event Specialist to manage logistics for an upcoming in-person event near you! The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for live events, and a commitment to our mission to create memorable, impactful experiences for our corporate clients.

Visit.org is an enterprise SaaS company that promotes purpose-driven engagement through proprietary content across 90+ countries. Our clients include Colgate, Paramount, Adobe, Twilio, and others.


We organize in-person and virtual events focused on social impact, such as community clean-ups, volunteering, and educational activities, covering over 30 social impact areas worldwide. Join us to make a difference!


Responsibilities:



  1. Coordinate all event details, ship materials, and arrange staffing. Be the onsite coordinator for engaging, team-building, and socially impactful activities.


  2. Participate in virtual planning meetings with partners and team members prior to each event.


  3. Manage on-site setup, execution, and teardown; ensure high-quality customer experience; problem-solve as needed.


  4. Represent Visit.org, lead the event, and coordinate roles among team members, partners, and staff.


  5. Oversee check-in, welcome guests warmly, and handle issues like missing supplies or technical challenges.


  6. Provide updates, photos, and videos during the event; assist with cleanup and material return afterward.



Qualifications:



  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

  • Based in Birmingham, England.

  • Flexible schedule for per-event contracts, including nights and weekends.

  • Experience in large-scale and executive-level events, with a track record of excellence.

  • Resourceful, solutions-oriented, and able to think quickly under pressure.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who builds relationships easily.

  • Experience in group facilitation and managing dynamics.

  • Willing to travel locally and interact confidently with large crowds.

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. and standing for long periods.
