Advanced Scaffolder - Central Birmingamn - £25.61 per hour PAYE
VGC Group are looking for experienced Advanced Scaffolder to start on a project in Central Birmingham. This contract is available to start ASAP and we can offer up to 3 years worth of work a successful candidate.

Location: Central Birmingham
Salary: £25.61 per hour PAYE
Hours: Monday - Friday - 7.30am - 5.30pm
Contract: Contract of employment
Experience: 2 years +
Qualifications: CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card - SSSTS/SMSTS

Advanced Scaffolder experience
Your role as an Advanced Scaffolder will be based in Location and will consist of:
- Assemble scaffolding according to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures, including metal pipes, wooden planks, and other materials.
- Use hand and power tools to connect scaffolding components securely.
- Implement safety measures such as guardrails, toe boards, and safety nets.
- Plan scaffolding layout and placement to accommodate project requirements.
- Ensure scaffolding can support the weight of workers, materials, and equipment safely.
- Calculate and manage the load-bearing capacity of scaffolding structures.
- Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure scaffolding is safe and compliant with safety regulations.
- Regularly inspect and maintain scaffolding structures to ensure stability and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Based in Central Birmingham remuneration for this role is £25.61 per hour PAYE, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
