A leading accountancy practice that is opening a new chapter in Birmingham is looking for a seasoned Audit Director to lead the charge! What you’ll be doing as Audit Director: You’ll take ownership of the audit function in Birmingham alongside the Partner's, delivering high-quality services across corporate, not-for-profit, and charitable sectors. As part of the regional leadership team, you’ll shape expansion plans, attract and develop talented professionals, and grow a loyal client base through outstanding relationship management and commercial insight. • Lead and grow a dynamic audit team in a new and exciting market
• Take the reins on a varied portfolio of clients and complex audit engagements
• Guide and support the development of team members at all levels
• Partner with senior leadership to drive growth and establish a strong regional presence

We’re looking for an Audit Director with:

• Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a track record in leading audit assignments
• Skilled at building client trust and communicating with clarity and confidence
• Passionate about leadership, mentoring, and team development
• Ambitious and proactive with a strong network in the Birmingham business community
• Commercially minded and eager to play a key role in regional expansion
• Candidates who are currently a Senior Manager looking for that step up will be considered
