Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (occasional weekend and evening work). Fixed term Contract to April 30th, 2027.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Events Coordinator to work on a flagship project working innovatively across two counties. You will lead on promoting and executing a variety of energy related events – from advice surgeries through to larger partnership events addressing fuel poverty and wider cost of living crisis.

The role is central to delivering a service that upholds the high standards of the Act on Energy brand and will be instrumental in creating events that are memorable experiences for our attendees.

To be successful within the role, you’ll need to liaise, plan and schedule events with internal and external colleagues, including our marcomms team to maximise campaigning reach and events delivery success.

You must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work on multiple tasks within a fast-paced working environment.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in delivering a diverse range of events and have a desire to develop their skills to organise a wider range of events for the organisation in the future.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

⏵ Ensure events activity is intelligently and systematically recorded including the introduction of standardised feedback mechanisms for attendees to ensure our events are meeting project and organisation requirements.

⏵ To lead or support on the running of the event(s) including preparation, participation as required and follow up.

⏵ To measure and consistently assess event outcomes, reporting findings at project delivery meetings.

⏵ To intelligently use data insights from our CRM system to better understand profiling and marketing opportunities, event promotion and delivery.

⏵ To report and feedback return on investment from events activity and use this data to shape and influence subsequent delivery and maximise impact.

⏵ To forge close working relationships with community outreach staff and the service project manager.

⏵ Supporting individual and team practice and achieving wider project deliverables.

⏵ To work closely with the act on energy product development manager and key stakeholder groups.

⏵ Maximising opportunities for the creation of video assets, case studies and promotional content that both strengthens AOE’s value proposition and organisational brand profile.

⏵ To share and embed best practice, processes and procedures across the whole organisation’s project and programme workstreams.

TRAINING

Training and support will be provided to you including opportunities to attend short training courses and potentially gain qualifications as needed.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Subject to a 6-month probationary period.

Fixed term contract to April 30th, 2027.

Interviews will be held in person at our offices Nr Salford Priors, Warwickshire.
