Assistant Production Manager - #1694808

Alliance Personnel are currently recruiting for assistant production manager to join one of their food manufacturing clients based in Birmingham.

Role Duties

• Supporting senior management team by overseeing and handling day-to-day production shop-floor operational issues, ensuring, high-quality and cost-efficient customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assisting senior management in delivery of daily production plans.
• Conducting daily shop-floor meetings with production team leaders.
• Generating shift reports for senior managers.
• Assisting in resolving production shop-floor issues.
• Issuing and collecting daily production plans.
• Assist with shop-floor personnel issues.
• Assisting with conducting staff disciplinary and grievance matters.
• To promote a positive and work-focused culture within the production areas.
• To assist with ensuring the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards.

Skills and Attributes

Essential:

• Enthusiastic and positive approach.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Computer Literate.
• Self-motivated, keen for a long-term career in the Food industry.

Highly Advantageous:

• Proven leadership experience within a food environment would be preferable.

Hours of Work

7:30 – 5:00 Monday to Friday
