Continuous Improvement Engineer
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000
Shift: Monday to Friday - Days
Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham
Are you passionate about driving process excellence and operational efficiency? Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Continuous Improvement Engineer to spearhead lean initiatives and enhance manufacturing performance across their operation. You'll be a key player in embedding a culture of continuous improvement on the shop floor. Working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams, you'll use tools like Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S to implement measurable change. In return you will be working for a market leading business who are looking invest heavily this year
Key Responsibilities of the CI Engineer:
Lead CI projects to reduce downtime, scrap, and process variation
Facilitate lean training and workshops across departments
Analyse data and performance metrics to drive fact-based decisions
Champion a lean culture and continuous improvement mindset
Requirements for the CI Engineer role:
Proven CI/Lean manufacturing experience in a similar setting
Strong knowledge of lean tools and methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
Open to all Engineering backgrounds
