Operational Analyst - Birmingham

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operational Analyst to join our team at Birmingham. In this role, you will analyse financial data, compare actual results with forecasts, and support operational and commercial departments with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compare budgets with actual financial performance at customer and trade levels.

• Analyse financial variances, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

• Review company costs, enforce financial policies, and train teams to improve cost efficiency.

• Automate accounting processes to enhance productivity.

• Support internal departments with financial data integrity, SOP development, and process enhancements.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in the logistics sector (preferred).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Ability to work flexibly, including potential overtime and weekends
