Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with an innovative manufacturer of intralogistics technology related to the material handling sector. With an industry leading, AI driven product and growing rapidly, our client are seeking a Business Development Manager to develop their client base across the UK. With an excellent package to include a strong salary and uncapped commission potential this is a fantastic opportunity for an individual from within intralogistics seeking a career move with great scope.

Responsibilities

  • Target large, end user customer in providing innovative AI safety products related to warehousing and intralogistics
  • Work in conjunction with various other third parties within intralogistics to ensure customer expectations are fulfilled and a full solution is provided to an adequate standard
  • Work in conjunction with other OEM’s and large distributor’s in providing solutions for large fleet’s
  • Providing a solutions based approach in understanding customer requirements and visiting customer sites for detailed analysis

Requirements

The role requires an individual with both a driven personality and willingness to understand the technicalities of material handling and warehouse solutions. You will ideally possess experience of selling into industrial/warehouse previously preferably from within material handling, warehouse automation/robotics, racking & storage or packaging, however this is by no means essential. Ultimately, our client are seeking the type of personality able to drive the business forward over the longer term and there are great prospects to do so.

The Company

Our client are a fast growing and innovative manufacturer of AI driven safety products within the intralogistics sphere. Despite having only been established for a short number of years they have already secured large end user business and have formed strong partnerships with OEM’s. As part of their global strategy and growth, they’re now seeking a successful BDM to develop their UK business further.
