DAY TO DAY:

Our client, a global investment bank and leader in the financial services industry, is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the Compliance & Legal Internal Audit team. This role involves identifying and testing financial crime controls by assessing financial reports, monitoring the firm’s compliance with laws and regulations, and advising management on developing smart control solutions. This person will also prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations for senior management and regulatory authorities. The successful candidate will be joining a global audit team related to Compliance processes, specifically Financial Crime controls (AML, Anti-Bribery, Sanctions).

MUST HAVE:

· 2-5 years of Audit experience (ideally Internal Audit)

· Internal Audit experience within financial crime functions (sanctions, anti-bribery corruption (ABC), anti-money laundering (AML), etc.)

· Risk identification and assessment experience (identifying potential financial crime risks, including money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing)

· Risk and internal control mindset

· Knowledge of compliance, risk, governance, or quality assurance in auditing

· Understanding of internal audit processes as related to a large global financial services institution

PLUSSES:

· Relevant certification or industry accreditation (e.g., CAMS, CIA)

· ACCA/ACA Qualified

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related field
