We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, supply chain management, and continuous improvement processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that production goals are met efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality. The Production Manager will lead a team, manage resources effectively, and implement best practices to enhance productivity.

Duties

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the production process.
• Manage supply chain operations, including inventory management and procurement of materials.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise business processes and systems.
• Provide training and support to staff on assembly techniques and equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance regularly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production environment.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in a production management role or similar position within a manufacturing or automotive environment is essential
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Excellent understanding of business processes related to manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
